Is Monday Hair Care shampoo suitable for thin hair?
I knew I had to review MONDAY Hair Care when it appeared three times within an hour on my TikTok For You page. Considering all the content you scroll through and the sheer number of products touted as the next big thing, that’s a lot. This is even for those who aren’t obsessed with TikTok.
There are currently four shampoo and conditioner duos in MONDAY’s collection, each designed to address a specific hair problem: Gentle (for damaged hair), Moisture (for dry hair), Smooth (for frizzy hair), and Volume (for fine and flat hair). These products promise salon-worthy results for only £5.50 per bottle (£11 for the duo), making hair care more accessible than ever before. Furthermore, celebrities’ endorsements and Instagram-friendly packaging make it a top pick.
Monday Hair Care
Almost no product is worth spending a lot of money on, so I choose to purchase drugstore finds that are just as reliable (if not better) than the luxury versions — especially mascara and false lashes … Adding shampoo and conditioner to that short list is now possible thanks to Monday Hair Care.
Monday Hair Care offers luxury prices and drugstore appeal in one brand. In addition to being impossibly dreamy, Jayne Lipton’s Monday formulas are made with clean ingredients, are packed in adorable pink bottles that are 100% recyclable (and free of sticky plastic labels), and, most importantly, actually work to nourish your skin deeply.
The brand can be spotted at Target, Ultra, CVS, and more if you’re in need of a shampoo and wash routine that truly pampers your strands (whether they’re straight, curly, or coyly). It is available in four ranges: Volume, Smooth, Moisture, and Gentle, which are tailored to meet your specific hair goals. Featuring a signature scent that is both refreshingly clean and deeply intoxicating, all of these products are cruelty-free, vegan, and made without parables or SLS – and my double-shampoo and condition regime has become something I truly look forward to after a long day.
Hair Care First Impression
The shampoo formula creates a smooth, calming lather that feels softly soothing on my scalp because it’s decadent and stunningly rich. I always double-wash after one wash with this particular shampoo because it ensures my hair is squeaky clean and feeling fresh on day three (or sometimes day four). In addition to performing exactly as promised, I enjoy the way the formula smells, which soothes and caresses my senses. Providing a modern take on sun-kissed florals, this scent is calming, invigorating, and indulgent, and you’ll love that the gardenia scent is neither powdery nor overwhelming.
In addition to having the same dreamy scent as the shampoo, this conditioner feels lightweight and adds bounce to hair after drying. My strands are instantly silky-smooth and it washes away without removing the formula’s goodness. The appearance of my hair becomes more moisturized once it has dried. My favorite blowout brush is paired with this. Light and lifted with a bit of volume, my hair feels like it’s floating in the air.
Trying Monday Hair care
Even though I don’t want to be swayed solely by the packaging, MONDAY looks gorgeous in my bathroom – a far cry from the usual squeezed out-of-shape bottles with peeling labels. The bottles are very pretty, but they’re also convenient to use. The pump feature is my favorite; I don’t like fussing with screw tops when I’m wet, soapy, and not quite awake.
When I first started out, I used the Gentle duo. With shampoos containing coconut oil, I expected a strong, tropical scent. If you don’t like overpowering scents, you’ll appreciate this lighter, more floral fragrance. Lathering up the light gel formula on my hair was quick and satisfying. I only needed three pumps for my entire head; despite the length (mine hits my chest). As a result of the thicker, creamier consistency of the conditioner, my hair was able to absorb it quickly. As I mentioned, I didn’t need much to feel like my hair was well conditioned, and two pumps was sufficient.
